On the Jekyll & Hyde album, in "Jekyll And Hyde" when Petra said "One gives, one takes, I have to decide", Dan thought they said "One kiss, one taste, I have to decide"!

On the Jekyll & Hyde album, in "Jekyll And Hyde" when Petra said "But despite my good intentions", Dan thought they said "But despite my good attacked chins"!

On the Double Take album, in "Judas Kiss" when Petra said "Like another thorn stuck in your brow", Dan thought they said "Like another corn stuck in your plow"! Here's Dan's lame excuse: "Harvest time can have its mishaps"

On the Double Take album, in "Judas Kiss" when Petra said "It must be like another close friend's broken vow", Dan thought they said "It must be like another bowsman's broken bow"! Here's Dan's lame excuse: "If the misheard lyric were correct, the word 'bow' would have to be pronounced differently."

On the God Fixation album, in "Over the Horizon" when Petra said "And I may question You", Dan thought they said "And I may crash to You"! Here's Dan's lame excuse: "We will bow on our knees, we will fall postrate, we will... crash before the beauty of God? Sounds strange, yet it will be true."

Here's Dan's lame excuse: "I did not actually misinterpret this line, but something about the way John pronounced the last word made it sound like this."

On the God Fixation album, in "God Fixation" when Petra said "It's a God fixation", Dan thought they said "It's a pop sensation"! Here's Dan's lame excuse: "I think it's more of a rock sensation."

On the No Doubt album, in "Heart of a Hero" when Petra said "They'll drag you down, attack your faith, and slay", Dan thought they said "They'll drag you down and deck you, they can slay"!
