With this album PETRA is starting down the road toward softer songs, which on this album happen to resemble Newsboys-ish music more than anything else. On the harder songs ("Midnight Oil", "Underneath the Blood", etc.) John sounds like he's trying too hard and either losing his voice or about to. Not a bad album all in all, but not one of my favorites either.
