I would put this in the top five of Petra's albums.
This Means War! is definitely the closest Petra ever got to a concept album. The title track outlines the fall of Satan that begins the war; "He Came, He Saw, He Conquered" shows us how Christ won the war; "Get On Your Knees" tells us how to particpate in the war; "Kenaniah" reveals how music was used in ancient warfare; "Dead Reckoning" talks about the inner war within all Christians; and "All the King's Horses" is about the final battle in the war.
All the songs are well-written, and well-mixed. There is a good, steady, consistent rock-pop sound that does not emphasize keyboards over guitar, or guitar over keyboards.
